Enquanto não tenho todas as fotos prontas da Dino Festa, aqui fica uma pequena lembrança que fiz para o Afonso. Já nasceu há alguns meses e tinha de ser presenteado com um dos meus saquinhos de pano e um porta-chuchas a condizer....

While I'm finishing the Dino Party' pictures, here's a little delight I made for Afonso. Was born a few months ago and had to be presented with one of my fabric drawstring bags and a matching pacifier holder.

Dino noite de mãe } Mother's Dino Night

E mais um ano se passou! O meu filho vai fazer anos este sábado...como tal voltámos às noites e fins-de-semana a fazer coisinhas. O ano passado foram os smurfs (podem ver aqui). Este ano, dinossauros....Mas este ano tenho a ajuda preciosa da Lima Limão - festas com charme.

Esta noite foi assim, a fazer estes "snacks de explorador" como lhes chamei.
Basicamente temos circulos de papel craft que foram cosidos à volta, lá dentro smarties. No fim completar com um circulo com a imagem da festa.
Uma ideia diferente e gira!

And another year has passed! My son will have is 5th birthday this saturday ... so I returned to my evenings and week-ends of doing little things.
Last year the theme was the smurfs (you can see here). This year, dinosaurs .... But this year I have the wonderful help of Lima Limao - charming party.
 
This night was making these "explorer' snacks" as I called them.
Basically we have craft paper circles that were sewn together, inside smarties. To complete a circle tag with the image of the party.
A different and super cute idea!

Pink dots...Minnie!!!!

Estou a ser invadida pela Minie....

Primeiro foi uma festa com o tema da Minnie agora uma encomenda de porta-chaves e porta-chucha... Digam lá que não ficaram uma fofura?!!!!

First it was a Minnie theme party now an order of keyring and pacifier holder... Aren't super cute?!!

O Diogo já nasceu } Diogo is born

 

Já nasceu!!! Já lhe tinha feito uma almofada mas como ainda tinha tecido aproveitei para fazer um saquinho de pano e uma capa para o boletim de saúde a condizer. Adoro o ursinho e adorei fazer este conjuntinho. O Diogo é bem lindo e está óptimo!!! Felicidades...

Already born!! I had made already a pillow but still had fabric so I used it to make drawstring bag and a health book cover to match. I love this teddy bear and loved doing this set. Diogo is cute and doing great!! Best wishes ...

Flores em crochet } Crochet flowers

 

Novas preparações festivas. Foi pegar na agulha e tentar lembrar como a minha mãe me ensinou. O básico não se esquece...depois...depois foi procurar na net algumas flores para fazer...Flores essas que serviram para decorar uma mesa bem especial... More party preparations. Was take the needle and try to remember how my mother taught me. The basics do not forget ... then ... then went to the net to find how to make some flowers ... these flowers were used to decorate a special sweet  table... Um elefantinho para o M } Baby elephant for M

Entusiasmada com o elefantinho acabei por o utilizar numa aplicação em feltro numa capa para o boletim de saúde em tons de azul....Voltámos à costura... Foi um pedido feito por alguém especial e não fui capaz de dizer que não.

Excited with the cute elephant I ended up by using it on a felt application for a health book cover in blue fabric.... I got back to sewing ... It was a request made by someone special and I could not say no.

Já casaram há mais de um ano...levei este tempo todo a preparar e juntar as fotos de todo o estacionário feito para vos mostrar.
Em cima a imagem base de tudo: um conjunto de folhas a crescerem e a envolverem-se a simbolizar a união do casamento. Um "selo" em forma de coração com as iniciais dos 2 no centro.

Already married for over a year ... it took me this long to prepare and gather all photos from the stationary done to show you.

Image above was the base for all: a set of leaves growing and become involved to symbolize the marriage union. A "seal" shaped heart with their initials in center.

 

A distribuição das mesas foi feita com chocolate. Cada mesa um chocolate com "fun facts" sobre este no centro. Sabiam que: em cada cinco minutos é produzida quantidade suficiente de KIT KAT para ultrapassar a altura da Torre Eiffel? Durante as guerras mundiais o MARS foi utilizado como parte da ração de combate? Que os Maltesers são tão leves que flutuam na água? 

The table distribution was chocolate themed. Each table had a chocolate with "fun facts" about this in the center. Do you knew: in each five minutes is produced enough KIT KAT to overcome the height of the Eiffel Tower? During the world wars MARS was used as part of the combat ration? That Maltesers are so light they float on water?

De volta à costura e aos saquinhos. Encontrei estes tecidinhos lindos lá por casa da minha mãe. Devem ser tão velhos quanto eu. A C que acabou de nascer foi a presenteada, saquinho e capa para o Boletim de Saúde a condizer. Felicidades à C.

Back to sewing and drawstring bags. I found these beautiful fabrics in my mother's house. Must be as old as I am. C that was just born has been gifted with a drawstring bags and a matching health book cover. All the best for C.

My little M

O meu filho também teve direito a um saquinho de transporte para pôr à cintura. Anda numa fase de carrinhos nos bolsos por isso dá imenso jeito. Escolheu o tecido vermelho (porque é do benfica) e a cor do M. Assim os Hot Wheels e afins já têm transporte próprio...

My son also had the right to a transport mini-bag to put at the waist. He is on a little cars on the pockets fase, so this bag is handy. He chose the red fabric and the color of M. So the Hot Wheels have already its own transport...

 

Um miminho cheiroso! } Cute and good smell!

Adorei fazer estas flores e quando a educadora do meu filho fez anos nada melhor do que oferecer uma flor a uma flor...e ainda por cima uma flor bem cheirosa...E claro tinha de ser cor de rosa que é a cor preferida da Xana.


I loved making these flowers and when the kindergarden teacher of my son had her birthday nothing better than offer a flower to a flower... and to top it a very good smelling flower... And of course had to be pink which is Xana's preferred color of Xana.

Reciclar } Recycle

Ando numa de "andar no lixo". Sabem quando vamos a passar e vimos qualquer coisa que nos chama a atenção?! Ora qui está...era uma suposta mesa de telefone. Estava já sem verniz, sem a parte de cima, e o tampo de baixo estava partido...

Serrei as pernas, lixei, pintei et voilá!! Para que serve?

I'm on a phase on looking at garbage. Know when we're going and we see something that calls our attention. This is one of those times... it was an alleged telephone table. Was already without varnish, without part of the top, and the lower top was broken ...

Sawed the legs, sanded, painted et voilá! What is it for?

Depois de uma pequena ausência (muito trabalho, muitas festas) cá estou eu de volta.
Fiz anos e o meu filho ofereceu-me estas caixa para jóias que acho fantástica!!!
Muito obrigada à educadora e auxiliar (Xana e Ana) do Miguel que fazem estas coisas na escola!

After a short absence (a lot of work, a lot of parties) here I am back.

It was my bisthday and my son offered me these jewelry box that I find it fantastic!
